      Peter is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and an MBA in Construction and Real Estate with special expertise in project feasibility and funding. He has worked in urban regeneration for 30 years, during which he has dealt directly with the social, economic, financial and physical aspects.
      Peter has been closely involved in the delivery of regeneration projects in London, the Thames Gateway (the subject of his presentation) and the East of England. This has entailed managing several major consultancy assignments, including a Brownfield Land Action Plan for EEDA, two Strategic Flood Risk Assessments in the Thames Gateway, a Manufacturing Park feasibility study for EMDA and two feasibility studies for business space development in Essex. He has worked on secondment with English Partnerships (a national regeneration agency) working on an initiative to build homes for first time buyers. He has developed a particular expertise in town centre redevelopment, working for Stevenage Council and Renaissance Southend and the financing of public realm and green space, through feasibility studies for the London Development Agency.
